Summer Concerts in the South Bay
Summer is finally here (someone tell the sun) and we are excited for all the things! Beach days, barbecues, sandy toes, dining al fresco…maybe even a vacation or two. No summer in the South Bay would be complete without summer concerts, and each of our beach cities has a free concert series that will not disappoint! Grab your beach chair and get ready to rock as we welcome summer to the South Bay at last.
Concerts in the Park – Manhattan Beach: July 2 – September 3
A long-held tradition and ultimate family favorite, Concerts in the Park is an awesome way to end the weekend. Beginning July 2 in Polliwog Park, on every Sunday from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, ten different bands are scheduled to perform throughout the summer (click link below to find the lineup). Bring your blankets, beach chairs, picnics, and little ones, but leave Fido at home (pets not allowed) and come early to get a good seat and a parking space! Perfect for families young and not-so-young.

Concerts at the Pier – Hermosa Beach: July 4 – August 27
Hermosa Beach has its own concert series, the ever-popular Concerts at the Pier, aptly named as they take place at Pier Avenue from 5:00pm – 8:00pm every Sunday (*beginning July 4). Bike down to the Hermosa Pier and bring your besties, beach chairs, and some barbecue to watch the sun go down on another gorgeous weekend at the beach!

Concerts on the Pier – Redondo Beach: July 2 – August 27
Each Thursday and Sunday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, a variety of bands will entertain concertgoers on the west end of the Redondo Beach Pier at Fisherman’s Wharf. There’s truly something for everyone – from reggae and indie rock lovers to fans of the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, the Rolling Stones, and even Frank Sinatra. Beach Life Ranch 2023 – Redondo Beach: September 22-24
No one wants to think about summer’s bitter end but at least it’s sweetened this year with the return of the Beach Life Ranch Festival. It’s never too early to get the best tickets for this second annual extravaganza, combining country music with an idyllic California beach setting. This year’s lineup features cherished favorite (and former local) Jack Johnson, Brad Paisley, and Chris Isaak, as well as the Doobie Brothers, Midland, Cody Jinks, and the Avett Brothers.
