Welcome to our new series, A Guide to South Bay Schools.  The month of April is the perfect time to consider a move to the South Bay - especially if you have school-age children - to give yourself time to settle in before the school year begins.  Our public and private schools are some of the best in L.A. County, often recognized and awarded for their excellence.  Below is our guide to public and private schools in Manhattan Beach:

Manhattan Beach

Home to our founder and many of our associates, Manhattan Beach is known for its superlative public school system.  Attaining national recognition, these schools offer some of the top education platforms in California while maintaining a small-town, community feel, and the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation is instrumental in ensuring the schools have excellent resources.  Public schools include the Manhattan Beach Preschool, five award-winning elementary schools (grades kindergarten through 5th), the Manhattan Beach Middle School (grades 6th through 8th), and Mira Costa High School.
